THE ENCHANTING FOLLOW UP SERIES TO THE BAFTA AND EMMY AWARD WINNING ANIMATED FEATURE ADAPTATION OF KENNETH GRAHAME'S TIMELESS CLASSIC THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS: THE COMPLETE SERIES 1, the follow up stop-motion animated series to Cosgrove Hall's BAFTA and Emmy award winning feature-length adaptation of Kenneth Grahame's bestselling children's book comes to DVD as a two-disc edition featuring all 13 episodes of the first series.

Narrated by Ian Carmichael (The Royal) and featuring the vocal talents of David Jason (A Touch Of Frost), Peter Sallis (Wallace & Gromit), Sir Michael Hordern (Middlemarch) and Richard Pearson (Love Hurts), the series picks up where the movie left off, with the inimitable Mr. Toad (voiced by the equally inimitable David Jason) hosting a celebratory dinner at Toad Hall and regaling his good friends Ratty (Peter Sallis), Badger (Sir Michael Hordern) and Mole (Richard Pearson) with a colourful account of what happened to him between his escape from prison and his return to the river bank. But unimpressed by Toad's recounting of his escapades and the apparent mistreatment of the individuals he encountered along the way, Badger eventually forces his amphibian friend to write letters of apology to everyone concerned!

The two disc THE WIND IN THE WILLOWS: THE COMPLETE SERIES 1 (cert. U) will be released on DVD (£19.99) by Fremantle Home Entertainment on 26th March 2007.
