A genuinely terrifying exercise in claustrophobia and confusion, NEXT DOOR follows a seemingly normal man whose girlfriend has just left him for another man. However, when he encounters the two beautiful but distinctly odd women who live next door - women he has never seen or heard from before - his life quickly begins to crumble as dark and forbidden urges threaten to consume him.
Directed by the acclaimed Pal Sletaune (the man who passed on the opportunity to direct American Beauty), NEXT DOOR is reminiscent of the likes of Roman Polanski's Repulsion and is easily one of the most inventive and brutal horror/thrillers to arrive in a long time.
