  Monster House on DVD
  Don't go into the house...
A darkly comic thrill-ride for the whole family, Monster House will be available to buy on DVD and UMDTM Video and to rent on DVD on 11th December 2006, courtesy of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

The adventure of a lifetime begins when three teens discover their creepy neighbour’s house is really a living, breathing, pet-munching monster! Armed with surveillance equipment and a host of cunning strategies, the three friends set out to discover the secret behind the Monster House.

Alive with scares and side-splitting gags, Monster House is guaranteed to thrill children and adults alike this Christmas.

From legendary producers ROBERT ZEMECKIS (The Polar Express) and STEVEN SPIELBERG (Saving Private Ryan, E.T.), Monster House uses the ground-breaking ‘Performance Capture’ animation developed by Sony Pictures Imageworks.

The film features an astonishing line up of Hollywood’s hottest talent, including the voices of MAGGIE GYLLENHAAL (Happy Endings, Mona Lisa Smile), STEVE BUSCEMI (The Island, Monsters, Inc.), JASON LEE (TV’s My Name is Earl, The Incredibles), JON HEDER (The Benchwarmers, Napoleon Dynamite), KEVIN JAMES (Hitch, 50 First Dates) and KATHLEEN TURNER (The Virgin Suicides, Romancing the Stone).

The DVD is packed with amazing extras, including audio and video commentaries, character designs and never-before-seen outtakes.
