Gangster Classic The Long Good Friday on DVD
Favourably compared to the likes of The Godfather and Scarface, and regarded by many critics as the best British gangster movie of all time, The Long Good Friday has deservedly attained classic status since its original release 25 years ago (jeez - how old do I feel - Ed!). Now, to celebrate this milestone film in British cinema history, Anchor Bay UK is releasing The Long Good Friday – 25th Anniversary Edition on DVD. This three-disc set comes specially packaged in a steel slipcase, and includes an audio commentary by director John Mackenzie, a brand new "making of" featurette, plus the film's original soundtrack on CD.

Released on DVD by Anchor Bay UK on 18th September, special features include: widescreen presentation; audio commentary by director John Mackenzie; "Bloody Business" – The Making of The Long Good Friday; interviews with John Mackenzie and Bob Hoskins; UK and US theatrical trailers; Cockney Slang glossary; poster and stills gallery; biographies; film notes; original soundtrack audio CD; screenplay (DVD-ROM content); stereo 2.0 audio; optional 5.1 and DTS. We can't wait!
