The acclaimed documentary celebrates its UK TV Premiere following its recognition from the Academy Awards, BIFA Awards, Rose d'Or Awards, and BAFTA longlist nomination.
Described as an "urgent" yet "hopeful" call to action for women's rights, DYING TO DIVORCE's TV broadcast will follow shortly after International Women's Day. This is a timely reminder of why women deserve to be celebrated, as the film investigates the shocking levels of femicide and domestic violence in Turkey, which continues to resonate worldwide. In Turkey, 1 in 3 Turkish women have experienced domestic violence, which is the highest proportion amongst economically developed countries worldwide.
