On August 2nd 2021, the essential, alternative streaming service ARROW debuts MAN UNDER TABLE, Noel David Taylor's surreal comedy about getting a film script off the ground in the crazy and unpredictable world of Hollywood - where everything is a definite maybe and nothing is what it seems.
The feature debut from writer/director Noel David Taylor, who also stars as Guy, a beleaguered, hilariously obnoxious scriptwriter navigating his way through the chaotic indie film scene in a dystopian Los Angeles, MAN UNDER TABLE is a wildly inventive and original fantasy comedy that marks Taylor as a triple threat to be reckoned with. Featuring some fantastic performances, including Katy Fullan as Indie film darling Jill Custard, and Ben Babbitt as her lackey Ben, as well a series of laugh out loud set pieces, this is The Player for a new generation of filmmakers who will do whatever it takes to see their dreams realised onscreen.
Screened at the Slamdance and the Chattanooga Film Festival this year, MAN UNDER TABLE is a 21st century Living In Oblivion, and recalls the surreal humour of recent indie hits Dave Made a Maze and Jesus Shows You The Way To The Highway, and real-life indie filmmaking doc Clapboard Jungle.
