French 'tecs and Arthur Askey in drag! What more could you want?
This August, Network are excited to present the long-awaited Limited Edition Blu-ray release of the celebrated adaptation of Georges Simenon's Maigret, as well as an array of comedies and dramas from The British Film collection, many wonderfully restored and available for the first time in HD.

Maigret
Unseen anywhere for decades, this much sought after adaptation of Georges Simenon's world-famous novels stars Rupert Davies as Commissaire Jules Maigret, and has been remastered in high definition for this deluxe limited-edition Blu-ray.

Windom's Way
Peter Finch delivers a BAFTA-nominated performance in this multi-award-nominated dramatic adaptation of James Ramsay Ullman's best-selling novel, directed by Ronald Neame and available on Blu-ray and DVD.

Simon and Laura
Also starring screen legend Peter Finch, alongside Kay Kendall, Muriel Pavlow, and Ian Carmichael, this whimsical satire on then-BBC programming (now in HD) is adapted from Alan Melville's hit West End play and directed by Oscar-winner Muriel Box.

Brief Encounter
Film legends Sophia Loren and Richard Burton star in this moody adaptation of Noel Coward's emotional tale about impossible love, directed by BAFTA-winning Alan Bridges and featured as a brand-new high definition remaster.

Charley's (Big-Hearted) Aunt
Energetically directed by Walter Forde and co-starring Stinker Murdoch, alongside Moore Marriott and Graham Moffatt, this newly remastered film is one of a series of hit wartime comedies starring Arthur Askey as everyone's favourite cheeky chappie.

Will Any Gentleman..?
Harking back to the phenomenally successful Aldwych Farces of the 1930s, Vernon Sylvaine's hilarious adaptation of his own play stars George Cole on top form, is directed by Oscar-nominated Michael Anderson, and is finally making its Blu-ray debut.

A Touch of Love
Oscar-winning actor Sandy Dennis gives an acclaimed performance alongside Ian McKellen in this thoughtful 1960s drama, featured in high definition in its original theatrical aspect ratio, about the complications arising from a young woman's sexual awakening.
