Henry McGee, familiar to millions of comedy fans as a straight man to many comedians, most famously Benny Hill, has died in a nursing home of Alzheimer's Disease. He appeared in numerous television programmes such as Z Cars, The Avengers, The Goodies, Rising Damp, Sykes and was well known amongst children for the Sugar Puffs Honey Monster adverts. On film he was in The Italian Job, Digby the Biggest Dog in the World, Holiday on the Buses and Carry On Emmanuelle. He was also Two-Ton Ted from Teddington in Hill's Ernie (The Fastest Milkman in the West) video. |
