Cult character actor Vincent Schiavelli has died aged 57 of lung cancer. With his distinctively lugubrious features and demeanour, his witty performances brightened numerous films such as One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Buckaroo Banzai, Amadeus, Ghost, Batman Returns, The People versus Larry Flynt, Tomorrow Never Dies, Man on the Moon and Death to Smoochy. He was also the author of many books and articles on cookery. |
