Leslie Cheung, one of Chinese cinema’s most popular actors, has fallen to his death from the 24th floor of a hotel in the city. The star of such acclaimed films as Chen Kaige’s Farewell My Concubine, John Woo’s A Better Tomorrow 1 & 2 and Wong Kar-Wai’s Happy Together was 46, and reportedly left a suicide note.
