Mr Miyagi waxes on, waxes off for the last time |

Much respected by generations of film fans, actor Noriyuki "Pat" Morita has died of natural causes aged 73. After experience as a stand up comedian, he got his break in movies and television, notably a regular spot on Happy Days, and never looked back. He was best known for his Oscar nominated role as martial arts expert Mr Miyagi in the Karate Kid movies, and also appeared in cult TV movie Evil Roy Slade, Midway, Full Moon High, Honeymoon in Vegas and Mulan. |
