Maverick Japanese director Takashi Miike’s Ichi the Killer will get its UK DVD release on June 2, courtesy of new specialist label Premier Asia. The hugely controversial gorefest is missing some three minutes of sexual violence, but is nevertheless still wall-to-wall with grotesque delights. No word yet on extras.
