TIN CAN, a dystopian prison movie from director Seth A Smith, receives its international premiere at the Sitges Film Festival (Festival Internacional de Cinema Fantastic de Catalunya) this October.
The post-apocalyptic film taps into the collective tension and unease of the current global moment. Anchored in themes of claustrophobia and dread, TIN CAN presents an unsettling take on human preservation in a disease-ravaged environment.
A clip, released this week to coincide with the premiere announcement, offers a first look at the film. We see Fret Greyl (Anna Hopkins) wake, imprisoned in a dark cell, dimly lit by the glow of a broken "WELCOME BACK" sign. Watch more at the link above.
