  Taiwan Film Festival Edinburgh 2020 [read more]

  • First ever and free to access Taiwan Film Festival Edinburgh takes place digitally between 18 and 27 September at www.taiwanfilmfestival.org.uk.
• The ambitious programme features 20 carefully selected titles, including 10 UK premieres.
• With the earliest film from 1960, the Festival explores the cultural, societal and political changes in Taiwan throughout the decades.
• In collaboration with Scottish Documentary Institute, Q&As and panel discussions featuring filmmakers and guests are to be announced in due course.
• To ensure wide access to the Festival, all films are free to watch.
• Taiwan Film Festival Edinburgh is principally funded by Taiwan's Ministry of Culture with further support from Taiwan Film and Audiovisual Institute and Taiwan Cinema Toolkit.
The producers of Taiwan Film Festival Edinburgh are pleased to announce their plans for the first ever, free to access edition of the Festival, taking place digitally between 18 and 27 of September at www.taiwanfilmfestival.org.uk. Originally planned as a physical event, the Festival was repivoted to a purely digital form in light of the global pandemic of Covid-19. Click the link for the full lineup.
