  Time enough
Around The Sun is an indie romantic drama with a sci-fi twist. It's an intimate tale of love, reason and realising you’re not the centre of the universe. Bernard (Gethin Anthony), a film location scout, tours a repossessed and crumbling French chateau. Over the course of an afternoon, he falls for both the place and its owner’s flirtatious representative, Maggie (Cara Theobold), who recounts the story of an influential popular-science book written and set there. But is their present-tense connection for real, or just a projection of the book's 17th-century characters?

Inspired by Bernard de Fontenelle's Conversations on the Plurality of Worlds, Around The Sun is the feature debut for UK/ Greek director Oliver Krimpas and written by award-winning journalist Jonathan Kiefer. The film stars Cara Theobold (Downton Abbey, Absentia) and Gethin Anthony (Game Of Thrones, Manhunt: Unabomber). Set in the present day, the production was filmed entirely on location in and around a 17th century château in Normandy, France, where Fontenelle's book was written and set. The film has garnered critical acclaim and awards across international festivals. Click the link to see the trailer.
