Artsploitation Films, usually known for its international genre releases, offers a movie of a different kind with the gay-themed Chilean men-in-prison drama The Prince (El Principe). The film, directed by Sebastián Muñoz, will be released on DVD, Blu-ray as well as VOD/Streaming on July 7, 2020.
Described as "a tale of loyalty love and compassion that blooms even in the most horrific of circumstance." (The Chicago Times Weekly) and "brutal, raw and cold, yet also beautiful, sincere and honest." (WireMag), The Prince has played numberous international and LGBTQ festivals including the Venice Film Festival (where it won the Queer Lion Award), Mill Valley Film Festival, Chicago Film Festival and Miami's OUTShine Film Festival. |
