Reuniting the stars and filmmakers responsible for the universally acclaimed Thai action movie Ong-Bak, The Bodyguard marks the writing and directorial debut of Tony Jaa's Ong-Bak co-star, the multi-talented actor, comedian and TV host Petchtai Wongkamlau. The film also includes Tony Jaa's only screen appearance to date since starring in Ong-Bak.
