A new clip (click the link) has been released for Simon Bird's feature directorial debut DAYS OF THE BAGNOLD SUMMER following the announcement that the film's World Premiere will take place at this year's Locarno Film Festival. DAYS OF THE BAGNOLD SUMMER will be seen by audiences for the first time when it will play in the Piazza Grande at the 72nd edition of the Festival which runs from 7 August - 17 August.
The coming-of-age film stars Monica Dolan (Appropriate Adult, Pride, Eye in the Sky), Earl Cave (Born to Kill, The End of the F***ing World), Rob Brydon (Gavin and Stacey, The Trip, Marion & Geoff), Tamsin Greig (Black Book, Green Wing, Friday Night Dinner), Alice Lowe (Sightseers, Horrible Histories, Prevenge) and Elliot Speller-Gillott (Uncle).
Adapted from the graphic novel by Joff Winterhart, DAYS OF THE BAGNOLD SUMMER is a tender, funny coming-of-age story about single parenting and heavy metal. |
