The LGBTQ+ movement in the UK has fought bruising battles for equality. Directed by Ashley Joiner, Are You Proud? brings together rare archive footage and interviews from across a spectrum of campaigners to celebrate the progress that has been achieved.
Director Ashley Joiner will be attending a special pre-London Pride screening of Are Your Proud? on Wednesday 3rd July at Picturehouse Central. Some of the participants from the documentary will also be present.
The film is released in cinemas on 26th July and VOD/DVD on 29th July, including in US. Check out the trailer above.
