Following the successful UK premiere at Glasgow Film Festival last week, Lionsgate are proud to announce that THE VANISHING will be in cinemas from 29th March.
Set on an uninhabited island 20 miles from the rugged Scottish coast, THE VANISHING tells the story of three lighthouse keepers who stumble on something that isn't theirs to keep. What follows is an isolation and paranoia-fed battle for survival as the men venture down a path of destruction.
THE VANISHING is directed by award-winning Danish filmmaker Kristoffer Nyholm (Taboo, The Killing) and stars Scottish actors Peter Mullan ((Tyrannosaur, War Horse, Trainspotting) and Gerard Butler (London Has Fallen, 300, How to Train Your Dragon), and newcomer Connor Swindells (VS.).
