Manga Entertainment, international anime and pop culture distributor, producer and sales agent, announced that it has acquired the UK, Irish and Australian distribution rights to MFKZ, released under the name "Mutafukaz" in international territories and produced by France's Ankama and Japan's Studio 4°C. The deal for the film was negotiated by Jerome Mazandarani of Manga Entertainment and Hengameh Panahi of Celluloid Dreams. Co-directed by Guillaume "Run" Renard and Shoujirou Nishimi, Manga Entertainment will release the film theatrically on October 11th 2018 including a new English-language version.
"We're working closely with multiple distributors to roll out a synchronised cinematic release across English speaking territories," says Andrew Hewson, Marketing Manager at Manga Entertainment. "It's an amazingly creative and compelling project - a true mash-up of genres, influences and styles. We are very excited for audiences to see it!"
