  Coming of age
MOONLIGHT, by writer-director Barry Jenkins, will be released exclusively on iTunes on the 5th June and on Blu-ray™ and DVD on the 19th June, courtesy of Altitude Film Distribution Home Entertainment.

MOONLIGHT is a moving coming-of-age drama about a young African American man growing up in a tough neighbourhood of Miami. The film has already garnered world-wide praise beating a stellar line up including La La Land and Hidden Figures for Best Picture at the 2017 Academy Awards®. MOONLIGHT features an amazing cast of fresh and upcoming talent, including an Academy Award winning performance from Mahershala Ali (House of Cards,) and former athlete Trevante Rhodes (Westworld). The film also stars André Holland (The Knick), Janelle Monáe (Hidden Figures), Naomie Harris (Skyfall), Ashton Sanders (Straight Outta Compton) and Jharrel Jerome (Monster).

A film that should be included on everyone's favourite film of the year list, MOONLIGHT has received a wealth of critical acclaim across the board for its restrained and emotional power. An immediate hit with critics at its premiere at Telluride and subsequent festival presentations at the Toronto and London film festivals, MOONLIGHT's stature has gone from strength to strength with Jenkins being seen by many as a vital creative voice in contemporary cinema. Winning three Academy Awards® including Best Picture and winner of Best Motion Picture, Drama at the Golden Globes®, MOONLIGHT continues to push boundaries within the film industry.
