The Bechdel Test Fest was founded by critic and film marketer Corrina Antrobus and is an ongoing celebration of films that represent women in a positive and progressive light. The festival launched in February 2015 as a year-long initiative celebrating the 30th anniversary of The Rule; after hosting many sold out events across London, the festival continues to showcase much-loved classics, new releases and overlooked female-focused films. Events include Q&As or lively panel discussions and aim to address the lack of positive roles for women in and on film.
The Bechdel Test Fest will be hosting three exciting screenings in March celebrating positive roles for women behind the camera and on the big screen!
