Based on a forgotten true story about a salesman who plotted to murder the President of the U.S.A. back in the seventies, The Assassination of Richard Nixon looks like another intense acting role for Sean Penn after his Oscar win as he takes the lead (that is, the would be killer, not the President). Also starring Naomi Watts and Don Cheadle, the film is out at the end of December in the US and Europe during the following months.
