Check out the trailer for the long-awaited/dreaded remake of John Carpenter's 1976 urban action classic Assault on Precinct 13. This one has a strong cast – Ethan Hawke, Lawrence Fishburne, Gabriel Byrne, John Leguizamo and (yes!) Brian Dennehy – and is directed by Frenchman Jean-François Richet, making his English-language debut. It'll be tough to match Carpenter's original, but since that film was a itself remake (of Rio Bravo) maybe we shouldn't be too churlish... The film will be in US and UK cinemas on January 21st.
