When Big Ronnie and his son Big Brayden meet lonely tourist Janet on Big Ronnie’s Disco Walking Tour, the best and only Disco Walking Tour in the city, a fight for Janet’s heart erupts between father and son, and the infamous Greasy Strangler is unleashed.
The Greasy Strangler is co-written by Jim Hosking and Toby Harvard. Hosking’s short film, Renegades premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2010. His next short film (written alongside Toby Harvard), Crabs premiered at the London Short Film Festival 2012. The pair then co-wrote and directed the comedy Privado for Warp Films in 2012. Following this they co-wrote The ABCs Of Death 2 anthology segment G Is For Grandad. The Greasy Strangler itself, premiered at Sundance Film Festival 2016.
The Greasy Strangler stars Michael St. Michaels (best known to cinephiles for his work in the 80s cult curiosity, The Video Dead) as Big Ronnie, Elizabeth De Razzo (The West Wing, Six Feet Under, Eastbound & Down) as Janet an Sky Elobar (My Name is Earl, New Girl) as Big Brayden.
