Nora Ephron's Last Supper [read more]
Women talking about something other than a man
The Bechdel Test Fest is proud to present Nora Ephron’s Last Supper, a day celebrating the life and work of writer, director and feminist icon, the late Nora Ephron on Sunday 29 May 2016.

From 1pm, they’re teaming up with the beloved Rio Cinema, screening a double-bill of rarely screened 35mm print of Heartburn, written by Ephron and based on her memoir of the same name, followed by a screening of Julie & Julia, the last film she ever made.

Cinemagoers will also have the opportunity to buy the Bechdel Test Fest’s first limited edition zine GIRLS GOTTA EAT - a publication dedicated to film, food and feminism, created entirely by exciting female journalists and illustrators from across the globe.

In the evening, they’ll be hosting an intimate supper club at a secret location, feasting on four courses of delicious food with lightning talks from empowering guest speakers to inspire tantalizing conversation.
