Dario Argento’s latest thriller, The Card Player, is scheduled for a UK Region 2 DVD release on October 18th from Arrow Films. The film stars Stefania Rocca as a cop forced to play a deadly cat-and-mouse game with a deranged killer; Britain’s Liam Cunningham co-stars. Advance word isn’t particularly strong on this one, but Dario can always be relied on for a few good murder sequences, if nothing else. The DVD comes with a making-of featurette.
