Digital Bulletin (described as a daily digital newsletter) recently interviewed Digital Outlook head honcho Glen Collins about the press campaign for The Village (hell, here at TSI, we've done our bit haven't we?). According to Glen, we certainly have - as he states the smaller fan sites are often where the larger publications go to get their info!
This of course, is on the whole very true; I can still remember now an Empire researcher who called to phone up and ask opinions on C4 showing a cut print of Robocop and what did we think about it (this goes back to my Invasion fanzine days - anyone remember that?). Now of course, they just log on and take what they want! And why not, we love Empire don't we... well don't we?
Ahh, I see a new poll coming on. Best off the shelf cinema magazine! Watch this space.
