2015’s Edinburgh International Film Festival runs from 17-28 June. Within this year’s programme, there are a number of films which have a horror connection. Some of the highlights are:

Hellion (UK Premiere / screens in the 'Night Moves' strand)
Multi-award winning director Bruce McDonald returns to EIFF with this horrifying tale of mayhem, madness, murderous evil munchkins and a young girl home alone at night. A Halloween horror at its best.

Turbo-Kid (UK Premiere / screens in the 'Night Moves' strand)
A post-apocalypse action-horror romp viewed as if made in the 1980s, Turbo Kid is a gleefully bloody fantasy film and a brilliant retro homage to sci-fi / horror films.
