Prolific composer Jerry Goldsmith came to prominence on television, on shows including Perry Mason, The Twilight Zone and The Man from Uncle, and his film scores included Seven Days in May, Seconds, Planet of the Apes, The Ballad of Cable Hogue, Chinatown, Logan's Run, The Omen, Alien, the Star Trek movies, Poltergeist, Gremlins, Total Recall and Basic Instinct. He died after a long battle with cancer, but leaves a lasting legacy of great music. |
