Marking Zach Braff’s first film behind the camera since Garden State in 2004 , Kickstarter-funded WISH I WAS HERE tells the story of a mid-thirties man whose life has become directionless, but is forced to change drastically on learning of his father’s terminal cancer. Combining hard life lessons with warmth and humour, the comedy drama also sees Zach in the lead role, with a stellar supporting cast including Kate Hudson, Jim Parsons (‘The Big Bang Theory’), Ashley Greene (The Twilight Saga) and Mandy Patinkin (‘Homeland’).
