Brian De Palma looks set to return to the genre in which he made some of his best movies, with the film Toyer. It’s based on the 1999 novel by Gardner McKay and is the story of a serial stalker who plays a cat-and-mouse game with a female psychotherapist. Although the book is set in Los Angeles, De Palma plans to shoot the film in Venice.
