Let's face it, for those of us brought up on video nasties, Evil Dead director Raimi is something of a hero. For him to come out with a statement like that we've got to listen. Anyway, while he's busy remaking, you can get yourself down to the multiplex and see the original and then you'll be able to say to your mates "oh, haven't you seen the original?" when they're telling you about the remake - like we all did with Ringu!
The Grudge opens at cinemas nationwide on 2nd July.
