Artsmagic is set to release a raft of Japanese movies in the States, including a number of films by Takashi Miike that have never been released outside Japan. Trading under the Warrior and Eastern Cult Cinema labels in the UK (www.artsmagic.co.uk), it is four years since they began releasing Japanese film, and with over fifty titles under their belts, they are amongst the largest distributors of the products of this cinema in the West. Amongst Artsmagic's first US releases are Takashi Miike'sFull Metal Yakuza and Sabu, along with the CGI phenomenon Malice @ Doll. Things are certainly looking interesting for Japanese Cinema in the US in 2004.
