The World premiere of Irvine Welsh’s ecstasy will take place at the Ministry of Sound on Tuesday 17th April 2012, followed by a Q&A with Irvine Welsh, Director Rob Heydon and the cast.
After the screening, the club will be open to the public for an after party. The first stage of the line up includes Mark Knight, Darren Emerson, Utah Saints, K-Klass, Hybrid, Dillinja, The Freestylers, Dave Spoon and Angie Brown (Live PA), with many more to be announced soon. Based on Irvine Welsh’s controversial book, ecstasy: Three Tales of Chemical Romance, Irvine Welsh’s ecstasy is a twisted tale that explores the euphoric highs and the devastating lows of a chemical romance. Directed by Rob Heydon and starring Billy Boyd, Adam Sinclair and Kristin Kreuk, the film also features sounds from some of the industry’s biggest names, including Tiesto & Mark Knight, Coldplay, Orbital, Primal Scream, Paul Oakenfold, Bonjay, The Mahones and Hawksley Workman.
