It seems virtually nothing of Paul Schrader’s original cut of The Exorcist 4: The Beginning will appear when the film is released in October this year, reports zap2it.com. Renny Harlin has just completed 13 weeks of ‘reshoots’ in Rome; basically the entire film has been reshot from a revised script, and according to actor James D'Arcy, only “two minutes” of Schrader’s footage remains. Producers Morgan Creek fired Schrader late last year after he delivered a film somewhat different from the one they were expecting, bringing Harlin in to rework the film.
