Vintage Hammer on the big screen
STUDIOCANAL are pleased to premiere three brand new restorations of Hammer classics: DRACULA PRINCE OF DARKNESS, THE REPTILE and THE PLAGUE OF ZOMBIES at a special Film 4 FrightFest Extra event this February.

The three films represent the first of several beautiful new restorations from the iconic Hammer catalogue in association with Hammer Films and will screen from new DCPs at Glasgow Film Theatre as a special pre-cursor to the annual Film 4 FrightFest Glasgow Horror Weekend.

These premieres look forward to the first fully restored Blu—ray releases of the titles. The first, DRACULA PRINCE OF DARKNESS, will be released on double play March 7th. Over the course of 2012 the project will see subsequent restored HD releases of THE REPTILE and THE PLAGUE OF ZOMBIES in May, and THE DEVIL RIDES OUT, RASPUTIN THE MAD MONK and THE MUMMY’S SHROUD later in the year in a continuation of STUDIOCANAL’s commitment to investing and restoring the best of British Cinema.
