Today we successfully upsized our database from MS Access to MS SQL Server. But what does it mean?
Well, erm... from the point of view of you, the user, at the very best it means you'll get faster responses from the website. At the worst it probably means we've more chance of the site going down as we're now spread between 2 servers - the web server and the SQL server - though to be fair to our hosts they are extremely reliable.
