Anchor Bay’s long-awaited Region 1 Dawn of the Dead special edition finally arrives on March 9th, with features that include DTS and 5.1 soundtracks, remastered 1.85 widescreen picture, a new audio commentary from George Romero, Tom Savini and Chris Romero, galleries, TV and radio spots, plus a collector’s booklet. Exciting stuff, although fans may want to hold on for the box set, also containing the 140-minute Cannes cut and Dario Argento’s shorter European version, due later in the year. |
