Results of our latest poll have been counted and what do you know, Planet of the Apes (original pictured right - just in case some of our younger readers don't know what a talking monkey should look like) is the most blasphemous remake of our short (but extensive!) list. Tim Burton will be cursing tonight, whilst Gus Van Sant is probably cartwheeling to hear that Psycho didn't take the accolade (there is no doubt that Psycho 1998 is one film we've never needed). Special mention must go to The Italian Job for nosing itself into third... absolute sacrilege.
