  Notorious on DVD
  Rap attack
Notorious tells the remarkable, true story of the rise and fall of the legendary ‘Notorious B.I.G.’ who rose from the streets of Brooklyn to become the most influential hip hop artist of all time. Notorious features superb performances from newcomer Jamal Woolard in his role as Biggie, Academy Award® nominee Angela Bassett as Biggie’s mother Voletta, and Derek Luke as Sean ‘Puffy’ Combs. This special extended Director’s Edition of Notorious is edgier than ever before, includes brand-new, uncut footage not seen in cinemas, and is yours to own on Blu-ray and DVD on 22 June 2009 from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment.

Christopher ‘Biggie’ Wallace was a gifted storyteller whose narratives about violent life on the streets were told with a gritty and objective realism that won him enormous respect and credibility. Notorious, produced by those who knew Biggie best including his mother and former managers, follows Biggie’s life from childhood - portrayed by Wallace’s son Christopher Jordan Wallace - through to adulthood - played by Brooklyn rapper Jamal Woolard. Notorious is accompanied by a cutting-edge hip hop soundtrack which includes some of Biggie’s greatest hits along with rare tracks from P. Diddy, Jay-Z, Jadakiss and Bone Thugs-N-Harmony.
