31st October sees the re-release of Ridley Scott's fantastic Alien. With a fantastic new digital transfer and additional scenes (this is Alien The Director’s Cut), the film opens in London's Leicester Square some 24 years after its original premier.
Oh so much better than any of its siblings - Alien really is a force to be reckoned with - a true landmark in horror/science-fiction cinema and one that is rarely surpassed today. If you’re of the generation (like myself) who never had the opportunity to see Alien on the silver screen there’s no excuses now.
