THE LIMITS OF CONTROL is the new movie from filmmaker Jim Jarmusch ("Broken Flowers," "Down by Law"), set in the striking and varied landscapes of contemporary Spain (both urban and otherwise).
THE LIMITS OF CONTROL is the story of a mysterious loner (played by Isaach De Bankole), a stranger, whose activities remain meticulously outside the law. He is in the process of completing a job, yet he trusts no one, and his objectives are not initially divulged. His journey, paradoxically both intently focused and dreamlike, takes him not only across Spain but also through his own consciousness.
Focus Features releases THE LIMITS OF CONTROL in New York (at the Angelika Film Center [at Mercer and Houston Streets]) and Los Angeles (at the ArcLight Cinemas [at Vine Street and West Sunset Blvd.] and The Landmark [at West Pico Blvd. and Westwood Blvd.]) on Friday, May 1st; and in select cities in May. The film is MPAA-rated "R" for "graphic nudity and some language."
