Boccaccio ‘70 and Marriage Italian Style on DVD
  Two from Italy
Mr Bongo Films is delighted to announce the release of two fantastic Italian films, Boccaccio ‘70 and Marriage Italian Style aka Matrimonio All'Italiana on DVD 11 May 2009.

Four episodes, each directed by a giant of Italian cinema, Mario Monicelli, Federico Fellini, Luchino Visconti and Vittorio De Sica, Boccaccio ‘70 features some of the most beautiful women to ever grace the screen, unapologetically taking charge of their lives, their loves and their morals, though not always with the happiest of results.

Teaming two of the biggest icons in Italian cinema history, Marriage Italian Style aka Matrimonio All'Italiana, sees the legendary Vittorio De Sica directing one of – if not the most – beautiful women to ever grace the screen, Sophia Loren in a tale of vivid characters and the foibles of their sex. The film centres on a well to do, middle class couple (Loren and Marcello Mastroianni (8 1/2)), who appear to have life just as they like it. The problem arises when Domenico’s (Mastroianni) mistress grows tired of living her life on the side, and seeks to become a more prominent feature in his life.
