  W and War, Inc
Slightly out of date politics in film form
Boasting a phenomenal cast headed by Josh Brolin as ‘Dubya’ himself, with James Cromwell, Thandie Newton, Richard Dreyfuss and Ioan Grufudd, W. is the acclaimed, true life tragicomedy of the most ‘misunderestimated’ man in the world. Directed by none other than three time Oscar winner Oliver Stone, the king of controversial political biopics examines his third American President, following JFK and Nixon. And arguably this is the most fascinating subject matter of the lot.

At it’s core a serious drama whilst still exhibiting a strong comic streak throughout, W is the story of George W. Bush; a man who struggled all his life with his personal demons, wrestling with them in his father’s long shadow. A Yale graduate, a transplanted son of Texas, a one-time drunk and a recent convert; how did this improbable character transform himself from reprobate and well-known black sheep of his esteemed family into Leader of the Free World?

Released on DVD & Blu-ray Disc 16th March, as is War, Inc which is an anarchic and wildly satirical political comedy. Featuring magnificent performances from John Cusack (High Fidelity), Ben Kingsley (Lucky Number Slevin) and Joan Cusack (Confessions of a Shopaholic) as well as a fantastic first adult role from Hilary Duff (A Cinderella Story).

A glimpse into the future when war and international Governments are ruled by Corporate big business and PR spin - War, Inc confronts the absurdity and violence of modern warfare with piercingly funny and audacious dazzle. Written and produced by John Cusack, this is unmissable for anyone who doesn’t like war!
