Presented in stunningly real, cutting edge digital 3D projection, MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D was unleashed on audiences on Friday 16 January 2009 in all available 3D screens in the UK (86) and also on over 100 screens nationwide in 2D. Playing to sell out audiences in all 3D showings, the movie took an incredible £1million in 3D and an additional £300,000 in 2D, giving a combined box office of over £1.3million, making it the most successful 3D opening to date.
The movie stars Jensen Ackles (Smallville, Supernatural), Jaime King (The Spirit, Sin City, Sin City 2) and Kerr Smith (Final Destination, Dawson's Creek). A remake of the 1981 horror classic, MY BLOODY VALENTINE 3D is directed by Patrick Lussier. Click on the link above for a clip. |
