  Not-so-Merry Christmas
The controversial British horror MUM & DAD is released on Boxing Day. For the first time ever, a brand new film can be seen at cinemas, on DVD, via internet download and pay-per-view on the same day.

Possibly the most unfestive film for the festive season, if the idea of Christmas with the family fills you with dread then MUM & DAD will certainly put things into perspective.

One of the most talked about films at this year’s Edinburgh International Film Festival and the UK’s premiere fantasy and horror film festival, Frightfest, Mum & Dad, the impressive debut feature by writer-director Steven Sheil is one of the most disturbing Brit-shockers to emerge in recent years. It is also the first ever UK film to receive a full multi-platform release appearing in cinemas at the same time as being available on retail and rental DVD, via electronic sell-through, Video-on-Demand and Pay-Per-View.

Mum & Dad (cert. 18) will open at selected UK cinemas and be available to buy or rent on DVD on 26th December 2008. Mum & Dad will also be available via Electronic sell-through (courtesy of Blinkbox.com and Lovefilm.com), Video-On-Demand (courtesy of Film Flex) and Pay-Per-View (courtesy of Sky Box Office).
