Directed by Kenta Fukasaku (Battle Royale 2; X-Cross) and starring J-Pop sensation Aya Matsuura (The Blue Light), YO-YO GIRL COP is the latest and hottest movie incarnation of Shinji Wada's phenomenally popular 1970s manga series ‘Sukeban Deka' (Delinquent Girl Detective), which since its first publication has been adapted into three live-action TV series, an original video animation and two previous live-action movies.

With stunts co-ordinated by Yokoyama Makoto (veteran stunt coordinator and director of ‘Power Rangers') and eye-popping yo-yo action supervised by legendary World Yo-yo Champion Takahiko Hasegawa, YO-YO GIRL COP also features a cameo appearance (as Asamiya's mother) by Yuki Saito who herself starred as Asamiya Saki in the 1985 ‘Sukeban Deka' TV series.
