March 11th sees the Region 1 release of John Carpenter’s 1976 urban siege classic Assault On Precinct 13, in a two-disc special edition from Image Entertainment. The set includes an 2.35:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, English Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track, audio commentary from Carpenter, new video Q&A with Carpenter and star Austin Stoke, isolated music score, still galleries, advertising materials and more. On the same day you can also pick up the Criterion edition of Sam Peckinpah’s Straw Dogs.
